The reason we only offer Grade A Brazilian rugs is that the inferior rugs will start out great and a year later will start to shed, curl, and harden. We also tan our hides for almost double the time which is a more costly process, but well worth the end result. Leaving you with a rug to enjoy for years to come.

I found one cheaper, aren’t they the same thing?

Cowhides are not all created equally due to the tanny process and skill required to get a perfect, shiny, flat rug. Many times you will see what is called a "B stock" rug at a lower price but these tend to have hair missing, curling, bad cuts, lack of shine, and extra brands. Cowhide Source exclusively only carries Grade A rugs which is only about 15% of all industry cowhides.

What if I’m not happy with the items I receive?

If you are unhappy with your order in any way, we will provide you with a return shipping label and you are able to return or exchange your purchase for up to 30 days.
